Make a Donation
Footwear Friends depends entirely on voluntary support; all donations are greatly appreciated.
Under the Government’s “Getting Britain Giving” measures, we can treat your donation as Gift Aid, providing you pay income tax (including Capital Gains Tax). A donation made by an individual is paid in net, and Footwear Friends can claim the tax from the Government – so for every pound you give us, the taxman will give us an extra 28 pence. (Donations from companies are paid gross, so the company will need to claim the tax back themselves.)
There are three ways you can make a donation, either online by credit/debit card, by text, or by cheque. If you’re donating by cheque, please print the Donation Form (and the Gift Aid Form, if appropriate) and include them with your donation.
Online donations, via credit or debit card, are processed by Virgin Money Giving; when you click to donate, you will be taken to their secure site to make your donation. Please fill out the Gift Aid information when making your donation, as this will allow us to claim a tax refund on the money you give, and make it go even further.
If you’re donating for a specific fundraiser or event, please let us know on the donation page, so we can ensure your funds are credited to the correct fundraiser. Thank you.
